Area Manager

RACQ is seeking a skilled leader to manage contractor relationships, provide technical support, and drive business development across the Brisbane region.
This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, safety, and service excellence through remote team management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support a network of 35-40 roadside assistance service providers.
- Provide coaching, technical guidance, and business development advice.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Manage contractor performance and foster strong business relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership position.
- Automotive industry knowledge and a passion for building strong partnerships.
- Proven experience managing teams and regions remotely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safety.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, formal, and informal.
- Effective conflict resolution and coaching abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- A customer-first mindset and strong time management skills.
