Key Responsibilities- Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including motors, generators, and control systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in underground mining operations.
- Equipment Testing: Test electrical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and safely.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all electrical work meets quality standards and is completed in a timely manner.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure that all electrical equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
- Trade Certificate: Hold a trade certificate in electrical work (Australian recognized or equivalent VETASSES).
- Drivers License: Possess a current and valid drivers license (C Class minimum).
- National Police Clearance: Hold a national police clearance (valid within 6 months).
- Experience: Have experience maintaining, servicing, and attending breakdown repairs on electrical equipment in underground mining operations.
- Skills: Possess strong electrical knowledge and skills, including experience with Epiroc E7C, DL431-8 Longholes, Volvo L120F IT's, Normet MF605DA charge up, Sandvik DD421-60c, DD422i Jumbo's, LH621i, R2900XE, R2900G loaders with RCT guidance including surface operation.
