As an Underground Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for performing planned and preventative maintenance, underground breakdown repairs, and diagnosing, fault-finding, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned and preventative maintenance on underground mining equipment
- Conduct underground breakdown repairs and diagnose issues
- Develop and implement solutions to complex problems
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
- Previous mechanical experience and knowledge working on underground mining equipment (Atlas, CAT & Sandvik)
- Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, fault-finding, and troubleshooting skills
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Valid "C Class" Manual Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
- Working Rights within Australia
