Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our in-house Legal team in Melbourne, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert legal advice on construction and contract law, supporting our business in major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents with a focus on risk management.
- Act as the lead legal advisor for major infrastructure projects, providing strategic guidance and support.
- Provide expert legal advice to stakeholders on construction and contract law matters.
- Support the business in reviewing and submitting contracts and tender documentation.
- Assist the legal function with general legal counsel matters and corporate governance.
- Completed a Bachelor of Laws and a current Australian legal practicing certificate.
- Sound understanding of public tenders and Public Private Partnership (PPP) agreements.
- Experienced Senior Legal Professional with a strong commercial acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience as a Lawyer in the infrastructure, engineering, or construction sector.
