About this opportunity:

We are seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant or Receptionist to join our team, working Monday to Friday, without weekends. As a key member of our practice, you will contribute to maintaining our excellent customer service standards and supporting the smooth running of the practice.

Your role will involve:

  • Maintaining a welcoming environment for patients by providing continued excellent customer service
  • Preparing patients and facilities for dental treatment
  • Delivering quality chairside assistance to dentists
  • Providing instrument sterilization
  • Maintaining infection control standards and procedures
  • Meeting and greeting patients, making a great first impression
  • Booking and amending appointments, answering phone calls, updating patient records
  • Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team
  • Making patients aware of dental services and offers
  • Handling payments securely while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Providing high-end patient care, building relationships with clients in a friendly manner

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Ideal experience as a Dental Assistant or Medical Receptionist in Australia (6+ months preferred)
  • A current Working With Children's Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is highly regarded, though not essential; your experience level will influence your compensation package
  • Strong skills in tackling challenges individually and as part of a team, with attention to detail
  • A strong customer care focus, with effective time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maturity and reliability
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer/patient care
  • The ability to maintain an organized environment with systematic approaches
  • The capacity to build rapport with patients in a cheerful manner

An estimated salary range for this position is $50,000-$65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
