Vehicle Servicing and Repair Specialist

Maintain and repair all vehicles and appliances associated with Fire operations, ensuring all vehicle systems and components meet operational and safety standards.

Undertake diagnostic testing to identify faults or maintenance issues, and perform repairs to return vehicles to service.

Assist in improving and developing specialized systems and enhancements, and undertake servicing and repairs on aerial appliances.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant Mechanical or Auto Electrical trade qualifications with Motor Vehicle Trade Persons Certificate
  • Hold or willingness to obtain a HR driving licence
  • Experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance, ideally with team player and problem-solving skills

Additional Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Develop and implement procedures for maintaining and repairing complex systems and components.

Work effectively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
