About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with the City of Hobart, offering a competitive salary and a range of employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the assets team to develop long-term capital works programs for stormwater and urban waterway infrastructure.
  • Assist the Program Leader of Stormwater Assets in maintaining the City of Hobart's stormwater assets, including the pit and pipe network.
  • Develop and oversee asset maintenance programs, focusing on water-sensitive urban design and water quality improvement assets.
  • Manage consultants and contractors effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or environmental) or a related field.
  • Equivalent project management experience in the civil or plumbing sectors.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative team setting.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
