
Home Care Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Home Care Support Worker to provide personalized care to our customers in the Picton area. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong commitment to supporting older Australians.
The role involves assisting customers to maintain their independence and quality of life while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. This may include personal care, cooking and food preparation, transportation to appointments and social engagements, and providing companionship.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Full Driver's licence and a fully insured car (If you have an international licence – we ask that you apply for an Australian licence within 3 months of working with IRT)
- Relevant Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- At least 500 hours of professional Home Care/Aged care experience
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Resilience and ability to work independently
- Available to work weekdays
