Database Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team.

Job Description:
  • The role involves designing and implementing complex database stored procedures, external functions, and triggers to meet business requirements for Business Intelligence Reporting/Data Warehouse tasks, Session Audit Logging of XML schemas, and Test Case Scenarios for Data Transfer Capacity, Security, and Disaster Recovery.
  • You will be responsible for documentation, implementation of database upgrades and version control, assistance with Quality Assurance and 3rd level support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong PL/SQL programming experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL (and Firebird) is highly desirable.
  • Data Modeling, Data warehouse, XML, and Data Quality experience are essential.
  • Retail Point of Sale and Financial Accounting experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve system problems of a complex nature.
  • Ability to test software and liaise with the appropriate authority on a technical level.
  • High interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
