Database Development Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Database Developer to join our team in building a 'next generation' database-centric Retail ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The design of complex database stored procedures, external functions, and triggers to meet business requirements for BI Reporting/Data Warehouse tasks, Session Audit Logging of XML schemas, and Security/Disaster Recovery.
  • Documentation for project control and data modeling, implementation of database upgrade/version control, and assistance with QA and 3rd level support.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong PL/SQL programming experience in Oracle PostgreSQL (and Firebird), Data Modeling, Data warehouse, XML, and Data Quality skills.
  • Retail POS and Financial Accounting experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to investigate, analyze & resolve system problems of a complex nature, test software, and liaise with technical authorities.
  • Interpersonal skills, initiative, and organizational skills.
Benefits:
