About the Role

As a Forensic Mental Health Clinician, you will work with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending, providing comprehensive assessments, treatment interventions, and risk assessments. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to deliver best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized services, including comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, and treatment interventions
  • Work within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model to develop treatment plans and risk assessment reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-practice forensic intervention
  • Provide supervision and support to junior staff members

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
  • A current driver's license
  • Experience working in a correctional or forensic setting
