Forensic Mental Health Clinician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Forensic Mental Health Clinician. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with individuals who have complex mental health needs and a history of offending. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing treatment plans that address the individual's risk and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and risk assessments to inform treatment planning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the individual's risk and needs
  • Provide clinical interventions and support to individuals in a correctional environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective treatment and support

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
  • Current driver's license
  • Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs and a history of offending
