Guidance Support Professional

This is a temporary role dedicated to providing support and services to students, teachers, and parents.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive support service that optimises students' access and engagement in educational programs.
The Guidance Officer will be responsible for advocating, providing counselling, and conducting psychoeducational assessments to determine the nature of student learning difficulties.
Key responsibilities include facilitating effective working relationships with parents, school personnel, and external support agencies.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
They will possess a strong understanding of student learning and development, with knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
