This position is responsible for providing approvals to approved service repairers of passenger, commercial vehicles, and equipment nationally. The role involves providing the resultant invoice for payment and managing the maintenance costs incurred after the vehicle has been delivered to the customer. The successful candidate will provide appropriate and accurate information while ensuring day-to-day queries and operational issues are carried out and resolved within agreed timeframes.
Your ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Approving suppliers' requests for the maintenance and repair work on managed vehicles and equipment.
- Ensuring all services carried out are within the manufacturers' service requirements.
- Ensuring defective vehicle and equipment repairs are carried out in accordance with the current CoR and Health and Safety processes.
- Actively working with external suppliers to provide support and improve their EVO portal usage.
- Assisting customers with general maintenance enquiries.
We are looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic who is an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with good listening and probing skills. The successful candidate will critically analyze information and solve problems, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability. Please note that a requirement of this role is that you MUST be a licensed heavy vehicle mechanic.
