Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at UGL in Hobart. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Selfs Point Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade project.
The project involves complex civil works, including general earthworks, working platforms, and roadworks for internal roads and site access intersections for the new STP. You will also be responsible for managing ground improvement works such as impact compaction, CFA piling, and controlled modulus columns (CMC).
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in civil engineering, with significant experience in design, construction, and commissioning on Brownfields and Greenfields projects. Any water infrastructure experience will be highly desirable.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent negotiation and influencing skills, able to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally. Proficient skills in computers, including MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook, are also essential.
