About the Role
A unique opportunity exists for a Finance Administration Assistant to join our exciting Centre Management team. Working within a friendly and dynamic office, this role will allow you to showcase your existing finance administration skills and grow within a successful company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a strong working relationship with all stakeholders both internal and external.
- Oversee the rental arrears collection process.
- Assist when necessary with the day to day running of centre rent collections.
- Complete the Monthly Rent Roll process (process and issue tenant invoices).
- Raise monthly charges.
- Process workflows.
- Maintain databases.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Start of day/end of day procedure with customer service desk.
- Reconciliation and banking of gift card takings.
- Complete petty cash reconciliations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior accounts experience in a retail shopping centre environment or similar.
- Good working knowledge of how to manage and collect rent from tenants.
- Competent level of computer proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Tertiary qualifications in finance or administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to put together and interpret a budget.
