About the Role- Play a vital role in maintaining infrastructure by operating specialized plant and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Ensure the upkeep of Council standards through regular maintenance activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with the public.
- Contribute to upholding a positive image of the organization through courteous and efficient service.
- Operate various types of plant and equipment.
- Supervise and train team members (opportunities for growth available).
- Collaborate with the team to achieve corporate objectives.
- Career development opportunities available.
- You must hold a current Victorian MR Drivers Licence.
- Possess a certificate of competency for relevant plant operation.
- Demonstrated ability to operate Roads & Drains plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and diligently with minimal supervision.
- Relevant industry-based training or extensive experience required.
- Current Victorian Heavy Rigid class Drivers Licence (or equivalent) preferred.
- A Spotter Certificate and/or Construction Induction (white card) is beneficial.
Maintenance practices related to Civil Infrastructure are highly valued.
