Youth Alcohol And Other Drugs Counsellor Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Youth Alcohol And Other Drugs Counsellor to join our team. This is a part-time, 3 days per week role for a maximum term of 6 months to cover leave.

The position involves working in Newcastle with fortnightly outreach appointments to Cessnock and Maitland.

About the Opportunity

This role provides person-centered therapeutic support and employs a strengths-based approach to assist young individuals in addressing the adverse effects of their alcohol or other drug use.

The primary responsibility is to promote positive behavioural changes, resilience, strengthen family relationships and healthier lifestyles among youth.
