About the Opportunity

The City of Adelaide is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer Drafter to join our Infrastructure Program. As part of this team, you will provide professional advice and input into the technical design, development, implementation, and monitoring of various projects and proposals that contribute to achieving the City's Strategic Plan outcomes.

Some of the projects we are currently working on include:

  • Main Streets Revitalisation Project – Melbourne Street, Hutt Street, O'Connell Streets, Hindley Street, and Gouger Street.
  • Streetscape and laneway upgrades.
  • City and Park Lands Shared Paths and Bikeways.
  • Major Stormwater upgrade and renewal projects.
  • Streetscape Renewal projects, incorporating Green Infrastructure.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of civil engineering and experience in drafting/design experience in the civil and infrastructure field.
  • Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office and high proficiency in AutoCAD and producing accurate design drawings.
  • Manual design and drafting skills.
  • Knowledge of Australian drafting standards, building construction, practices, and techniques.
  • Experience in the delivery of design, documentation, and quality assurance to meet highest industry standards and statutory regulations.
