Trackwork Riding Assistant

Earlstoun Lodge Thoroughbreds is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to assist our trainer with daily trackwork riding duties on a private 1200m training track.

This role offers a unique opportunity to broaden your skill set and advance in the racing industry. As a Trackwork Riding Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily trackwork of a small team of approximately 6 horses in work assisting the trainer with the daily training routines.
  • General stablehand duties, including feeding, grooming, and stable maintenance.
  • Attending and assisting on race days.

The ideal candidate will hold or have previously held a trackwork rider's license and possess excellent horsemanship skills. Must be able to ride trackwork, attend race days, and perform general stable duties.
