Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in analyzing and controlling key cost lines, particularly Prime Materials and Repairs & Maintenance (R&M).

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial forecasts and reports.
  • Analyze variances in Prime Materials and R&M costs, and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and enhance forecasting models and dashboards.
  • Manage Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) and support CapEx project costing and reporting.
  • Oversee financial aspects of Major Shutdown (MSD) events.
  • Contribute to the annual budget process.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Accountancy or Commerce.
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years' experience in financial or management accounting.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Hyperion, SAP desirable).

You will be required to meet certain employment criteria, including a criminal history check and pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing).
