We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance division in West Perth. This permanent full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the completion of finance-related tasks within designated timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations: Ensure completeness of subledger related tasks, understand ledger impacts to assist with resolution of transactional matters, and maintain accurate accounting records.">
  • Daily/Monthly Reporting and Analysis: Aid in the preparation of comprehensive reports, including profit and loss support, bank analysis, and daily cash position.">
  • Financial Coordination: Support month-end/half-year/end accounting processes, statutory requirements, internal/external audits, allocated journals, and balance sheet reconciliations within group deadlines.">
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.">
  • Tax Compliance: Assist and/or prepare tax-related tasks, including FBT, ITR, BAS, and any other tax administration investigations/queries.">
  • Team Collaboration: Work with team members on group analysis and investigations, improving processes within scope of responsibility.">
  • Accounts Payable: Perform accounts payable duties, such as purchase order creation and maintenance, review of payments for disbursements of funds prior to authorisation daily.">
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in various ad-hoc duties and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices within the Finance division.">

Requirements

  • Academic Credentials: Possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (minimum Bachelor's degree), with a preference for those working towards or holding a CPA/CA qualification.">
  • Experience Essentials: Demonstrate proficiency in a similar role within large organisations, complemented by a robust understanding of finance system subledgers in ERP systems like Dynamics 365, Oracle, or similar platforms.">
  • Key Competencies: Showcase reconciliation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.">
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills, coupled with collaboration and adaptability in dynamic environments.">
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel, including Power Query skills, with the ability to quickly respond to situations as they arise and work to strict deadlines.">

About the Role

This Financial Analyst role offers a salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, and benefits that include free roadside assistance, discounts on RAC products and services, professional career development and training, and opportunities for community engagement and corporate volunteering.
