This is a temporary vacancy for a Deputy Principal in a primary school.
About the PositionThe successful applicant will assist the Principal to develop and articulate a shared educational vision focused on quality learning outcomes. They will also deputise for the Principal when required, uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity, and embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Principal in developing and implementing education strategies to achieve quality learning outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with parents, community groups, industry and business to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Be futures-oriented and strategic in their approach to education leadership.
- Manage resources effectively to achieve goals and objectives.
