About the Role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our brand new Early Childhood Centre as Centre Director. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the centre's vision and guiding a team of educators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of educators and support staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.
- Develop and implement centre policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with families to build strong relationships and ensure their needs are met.
- Manage centre operations, including budgeting, staffing, and facilities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Early Childhood Teaching or Diploma qualified or working towards your ECT (or an ACECQA equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards.
- First aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current child protection training.
