Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project as a Lead Network Engineer supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Cyber Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and resilient network infrastructure for DoD networks.

Main Tasks
  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to meet program requirements.
  • Ensure network security and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain network policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with best practices.
  • Lead network risk management initiatives, vulnerability assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, and cybersecurity teams, to ensure effective network operations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging network threats and recommend proactive defense strategies.
  • Manage network tools, technologies, and processes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, briefings, and security recommendations to senior leaders.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with significant leadership experience.
  • Current Top Secret clearance.
  • Desirable ITIL certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DoD network policies, including STIGs, RMF, NIST 800-53, and Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with network security tools and technologies.
  • Proven track record of managing network incidents and compliance efforts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Active CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification.
