Role Overview

We are part of a significant initiative to reduce the impact of drink container litter on our environment.

The Position

Our warehouse team seeks a casual team member who is eager to learn, possesses excellent teamwork skills and provides good customer service.

You will assist in collecting, sorting, and storage of recyclable drink containers. On-the-job training in using specialized equipment will be provided.

  • Deliver superior customer service
  • Operate machinery used for bulk sorting of recyclable drink containers
  • Use a forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containers
  • Operate a point of sale system for accurate sales and refund transactions

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience within a warehouse setting
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently
  • Ability to meet production requirements of a busy collection and sorting centre
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
