Job Description

This exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Child Contact Facilitator to join our team at Anglicare Victoria's Children's Contact Service (CCS). The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating safe and supervised contact between children and their non-resident parents, promoting the development of family relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilitate safe and supervised contact between children and their non-resident parents, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  2. Provide a supportive and empathetic environment for clients, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, counselors, and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and open communication.
  5. Ensure accurate record-keeping, documentation, and reporting, in accordance with organizational standards.
Requirements
  • A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those affected by trauma and family violence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of clients and services.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $70,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
