Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced individual to manage our tool store, workshop, and plant assets on a full-time permanent basis. This exciting opportunity requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in purchasing, supplier engagement, and invoice management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage tool store inventory, workshop, and plant asset purchasing, maintenance, calibrations, and compliance
  • Track and purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) and consumables, working closely with suppliers to assess product demand and usage
  • Compile information for internal and external audits
  • Achieve accurate record-keeping of tools and workshop assets, scheduling calibrations, inspections, and repairs
  • Source quotes from suppliers and monitor back orders
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar service or tool store administrative role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with purchasing, supplier engagement, and invoice management
  • Organised and motivated with ability to work independently and within a team
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office experience, including Word and Excel
