Community Engagement Lead

The successful candidate will work closely with diverse stakeholders, colleagues, and community members to implement and operationalise a centre-wide programming framework that promotes connections within and between communities.

This role requires the ability to design engaging events, activities, and programs that cater to the needs of various community groups.

  • Developing and delivering community-focused initiatives
  • Fostering strong relationships with community members and organisations
  • Leading a team of professionals to achieve programme objectives
  • Managing venue operations, including financials, reporting, and processes
  • Resolving complex problems in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • Experience in community cultural development, arts, and cultural programming
  • Commitment to social inclusion, diversity, and combating discrimination
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
