Job Summary

The Auxiliary Firefighter plays a critical role in responding to fire and other emergency incidents.

You will contribute to community education activities, develop competencies through regular drills and training courses, and maintain required attendance standards.

You will also operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively.

Main Responsibilities

  • Respond to fire and other emergency incidents as a member of a team.
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities.
  • Develop and maintain competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses.
  • Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
