Job Overview:

We are seeking an innovative professional who can help drive success and growth by establishing a leading financial planning software provider in Australia.

This role will involve managing client relationships, integration projects, and providing solutions that meet business needs. You will be responsible for the success of entire deal life cycles and driving sales results with your pre-sales skills and can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure business outcomes are met.
  • Facilitate team member growth and achievement of individual and departmental goals through coaching and mentoring.
  • Partner with Sales to manage potential opportunities and serve as a local product expert during the sales process.
  • Work across all parts of Morningstar's Financial Planning suite of solutions to drive Go to Market strategy.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on financial planning strategies and present industry thought leadership.
  • Drive strategic engagement to accelerate growth across Key Accounts, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Pre-Sales & Solution Discovery:

You will work closely with advice clients in Australia, partnering with our sales teams to understand client requirements and design best-of-breed solutions.

Share industry insights and master product demonstrations and knowledge of product capabilities and benefits.

Lead deals from qualification to deployment of Morningstar solutions, partnering with sales and product teams to win deals and then handing over to Implementation Consultants and Success Managers.

Implementation:

Work with stakeholders to define and document business and technical requirements, assist in pre-sales consultations, and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders.

Facilitate decision making, assess trade-offs, and identify risks and potential issues.

Be responsible for smooth hand-over to client service teams.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

At least 7 years of experience in pre-sales, project management, implementation, and/or business development.
