Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our communication and engagement strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication plans to engage with stakeholders, including community groups, landholders, Traditional Owners, and First Peoples.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing high-quality communication materials that clearly communicate our goals and objectives.
  • Overseeing the identification and analysis of local issues and community priorities to ensure our engagement activities are timely, locally informed, and responsive to community values and context.
  • Monitoring and refining our engagement program using established evaluation methods to support ongoing relevance, effectiveness, and impact.
  • Engaging and managing stakeholders in complex policy or infrastructure contexts, with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Victorian energy sector, including policy, planning, and infrastructure challenges involved in the transition to renewable energy.

They will also possess experience contributing to the delivery of Victorian Government energy policies, programs, or reforms, with familiarity with current policy settings and commitments desirable.

Additional requirements include demonstrated ability to work respectfully with First Peoples and Traditional Owner groups, as well as an appetite to learn and grow within the role.
