Senior Proposals Specialist

We are seeking a commercially astute engineer with expertise in crafting compelling proposals that balance technical precision with commercial strategy.

You'll take the lead in shaping innovative solutions for major projects across sectors including combined heat and power (CHP), energy storage systems (BESS), gas peaking, hydrogen, and data centres.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Developing detailed, competitive proposals including scope, pricing, and terms
• Reviewing customer RFQs and technical documentation to tailor solutions
• Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Project teams throughout the bid process
• Coordinating site visits, supplier meetings, and subcontractor engagement
• Supporting Sales Engineers during client interactions and presentations
• Identifying and mitigating technical and commercial risks
• Managing supplier and subcontractor RFQs and proposal documentation
• Serving as the main point of contact for proposal-related client queries
• Ensuring seamless handovers to the Project Delivery team
• Reporting progress and insights to senior leadership
• Driving continuous improvement across the proposals function
• Maintaining HSEQ standards across all proposal activities
• Providing guidance and coaching to junior engineers within the team
