About the Role
The University of Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to support the delivery of a diverse program of strategic and iconic University events. As a key member of the events team, you will work closely with stakeholders to plan, execute, and evaluate events and related initiatives, ensuring alignment with the University's strategic objectives of enhancing brand reputation and attracting students.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Events Manager to develop and implement event strategies and plans
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate event logistics and ensure successful delivery
* Provide advice on best practice in event management and coordination
* Develop and maintain accurate event documentation, including project plans, briefs, budgets, and risk management
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
* Substantial relevant experience working in a busy event coordination role
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
* Highly developed organisational skills
