The Ideal Candidate

Key Responsibilities
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Complete the end-to-end function of the HR M&A process including conducting due diligence reviews preparing reports for upcoming settlements reviewing industrial relations and employment compliance pre and post-settlement HR onboarding and administrative tasks including contract preparation and data entry in the HRIS.
- People Services: Deliver timely accurate support and guidance on incoming employment related matters through the HR inbox and main phone line
- People Systems: Support in People System project work maintain up-to-date system-related self-service documentation and assist in the resolution of technical issues
- Training & Development: Conduct training sessions within the business on P&C Compliance related topics and People Systems including employment legislation relevant industrial awards internal policies and practices and HRIS self-service system capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes proactively suggesting enhancements to current HR processes and practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Exposure to the Early Childhood sector or a similar operating environment such as education disability services or aged care desirable
- Studying towards or hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Business Human Resource Management
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation childcare regulations and industrial awards
- Experience in producing reports and data analysis
- High-level computer literacy and application of Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
- Prior experience working with a HRIS SuccessFactors
