We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Inspector to lead a team of inspectors and provide technical guidance on building compliance and inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing team of inspectors in conducting inspections, audits, and investigations
- Develop and implement training programs for inspectors to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with the leadership team to improve QA systems, SOPs, and compliance documentation
- Provide expert advice on technical queries, disputes, and high-stakes reports
- Conduct complex inspections and support fieldwork as needed
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma qualified Structural Engineer (Minimum Registered Builder or Building Surveyor)
- Working knowledge of the NCC, WA Guide to Standards & Tolerances, and AS 4349
- Comfortable guiding others, reviewing reports, and making clear technical calls
- Skilled communicator with a pragmatic, problem-solving approach
- Confident navigating issues and standing behind your professional judgment
