Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Learning and Education Professional to join our team in Western Australia.

  • The role involves working collaboratively with centre managers, educational leaders, ECTs and educators in centres to support embedded and sustained quality improvements in practice.
  • Key responsibilities include facilitating engaging and interactive professional learning for centre teams using Education resources, with consideration to adult learning principles and learning styles.
  • The position also entails implementing effective coaching and mentoring strategies to build professional capacity for individuals and centre teams.
  • Apart from that, the individual will work collaboratively within the Early Learning and Education team to develop and implement centre-specific action plans and facilitate professional learning to address gaps in content and pedagogical knowledge.
  • The person will be responsible for operationalising the Education Team Practice Support Program to support efficient and effective processes for improving resourcing, learning environments, practice and pedagogy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong background of experience working in the early childhood education and care sector is required.
  • A Bachelor's qualification in early childhood education or a related field is necessary with proficient registration.
  • The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of all aspects of the National Quality Framework and how it applies in practice.
  • Significant experience in sharing best practice and motivating stakeholders to engage in quality improvement is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring is also required.
  • Additionally, proven experience working in adult education, including both content development and delivery (classroom, desktop and online) is necessary.
