We are seeking an exceptional Critical Care Physician to join our team at Latrobe Regional Hospital in Gippsland.

The estimated salary for this role is AU$250,000 - AU$350,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on the hospital's location in a regional area and the level of expertise required for the position.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a highly skilled Critical Care Physician to lead and manage the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Latrobe Regional Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supervising medical staff, and contributing to the development of critical care services in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the ICU team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Provide expert medical leadership and support to junior doctors and nurses
  • Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of critical care services and education programs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:MBBS or equivalent qualification

Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Fellowship of the CICM or equivalentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
