Cloud Solutions Expert

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Expert to join our team. As a key member of our AWS Global Services team, you will collaborate with technical experts across dozens of countries to help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build innovative solutions and provide technical guidance to customers
  • Ensure cloud environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers and understand their business needs and technical challenges
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Consult with partners from developers to C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning
  • Provide post-sales consultative expertise as part of the Enterprise Support team
  • Solve problems across different customers as they migrate workloads to the cloud
  • Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops and brown bag sessions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, or applications development in a distributed systems environment
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environments as a technical lead
  • Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies
  • Understanding of technology budgeting principles
  • Background working with Public Sector customers
