Overview

We're looking for a AWS Cloud Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and highly resilient cloud solutions for government and enterprise clients. This is a strategic, hands-on role where your expertise will guide architecture decisions, optimize cloud platforms, and ensure solutions meet the highest standards of security and performance.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the design and implementation of AWS cloud architectures across complex, large-scale environments.
  • Defining and enforcing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Driving best practices in security, compliance, and governance across cloud platforms.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver mission-critical, high-impact solutions.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and architects within the team.
About You
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security, serverless, monitoring).
  • Strong expertise in cloud architecture patterns, IaC, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance, especially in government or highly regulated environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • Australian Citizen with eligibility for NV1 or NV2 security clearance.
