Job Overview

The role of Senior Risk Manager is critical to the success of our organisation. This position involves developing and strengthening enterprise and operational risk frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and enhancing the risk culture across the business.

The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of superannuation risk landscapes, with the ability to lead risk initiatives and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the risk management strategy across the fund.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on enterprise and operational risk activities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through effective risk governance.
  • Support the Risk Committee with reporting, insights, and risk assessments.
  • Manage risk registers, key risk indicators (KRIs), and control assurance processes.
  • Lead incident and breach management, including investigations and reporting.
  • Provide risk advice to business units on key projects, changes, and strategic initiatives.
About You
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in risk management within superannuation or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of APRA regulations, ASIC guidance, and fiduciary obligations.
  • Skilled in enterprise and operational risk, incident management, and controls testing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with executive leadership.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

  • Knowledge of APRA regulations and industry standards.
  • Skills in risk analysis, assessment, and mitigation.
