About The Program

As a dynamic and experienced leader, you will oversee the program budget, manage billing processes, and ensure financial sustainability.

  • Lead the Medical Services Program, ensuring high-quality, efficient and sustainable primary care services.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to General Practitioners, Nurses and Specialists.
  • Manage program budgets, MBS billing processes, and financial sustainability.
  • Oversee compliance with accreditation standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Drive workforce development, including recruitment, supervision, and performance management.
  • Build a positive and continuous-improvement-focused culture within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Foster integration across programs, ensuring client-centred and culturally safe care.
  • Monitor service performance against Key Performance Indicators, identify risks, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Strengthen stakeholder relationships with internal teams, external partners, and the wider community.
What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced leader with a strong background in health service or practice management. You should combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership and thrive in environments where collaboration and innovation drive positive outcomes.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Management, Health Service Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing a General Practice or equivalent multidisciplinary program.
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in billing systems and MBS claiming.
  • Commitment to improving health outcomes for vulnerable and marginalised communities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire staff and foster collaboration.
