Public Relations and Influencer Campaign Manager Role

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position that involves overseeing bold, culture-shaping campaigns where PR, influencers, and earned-first strategy intersect.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for steering major accounts, sparking creative ideas, and delivering impactful results across PR and ambassador programs.

A snapshot of the key responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic earned and influencer campaign plans for projects and annual programs.
  • Partner with clients to provide reliable & timely updates and counsel on media outreach and influencer management.
  • Advise clients regarding the best use of PR, influencer, and social for program amplification.
  • Lead junior team members in implementing specific PR and influencer strategies to meet client objectives, issues, or briefs.
  • Contribute to the creative ideation process and develop innovative PR/influencer tactics, working with production teams to deliver campaign implementation assets.
  • Manage client finances and scopes for both projects and retained work, closely with the PR & Comms Account Director.
  • Drive forward-thinking influencer strategy and engagement.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest thinking and learnings in integrated marcomms, applying them as appropriate to clients.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the consumer PR and influencer space with thorough knowledge of communication principles and techniques, ideally from an integrated comms agency.
  • Excellent working knowledge of media across all mediums (including digital and social) and an active and expanding network of media contacts.
  • Solid understanding of local trends and news that may affect the PR industry, programs or clients.
  • Strong public speaking/presentation skills, experience in new business pitching is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills, financial literacy and attention to detail.
