Influencer & Content Specialist

Boody Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia

Boody is looking for a new Influencer & Content Specialist to join our Brand team

Our Influencer & Content Specialist inspires brand growth through strategic relationship-building with influencers, creators, ambassadors, and brand partners who align with Boody's values, driving impactful collaborations and campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with our marketing calendar. In this role your focus will be ensuring maximum return from your collaborations by engaging the internal Social and Digital functions to consider the most effective way to amplify relationships across channels and drive a measured return whilst upholding out brand.

What is this role all about?

  • Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing Manager to support the development of a clear strategy for our Influencer Marketing channel.
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant Influencers and Brand Ambassadors to amplify our brand reach and engagement. Develop partnerships, manage contracts, and track influencer performance to ensure alignment with brand values and goals.
  • Be obsessed with the results of your generated content, tracking daily what is working, and what is not working at a ROAS, CTR and NCAC level to ensure all available learnings are fuelling the creative flywheel, driving actionable insights and innovative ideas.
  • Be confident in representing the results of your channel to various teams in the business, advocating for your partners and the reasons you chose to create with them.
  • Be the champion of our partner relationships, going above and beyond to connect with them in a personal and meaningful manner to forge long term, genuine and authentic relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest content trends, social media algorithms, and emerging platforms to create fun, engaging, and innovative briefs that capture attention, drive brand awareness and convert to sales.
  • Ensure all briefs ladder up to and compliment the broader Integrated Merch Marketing Calendar (IMM), providing absolute clarity to our creators on how to highlight the key features of our products and brand in a meaningful, emotive and 'scroll stopping' manner.
  • Be confident challenging content creators and vendors to drive impactful and brand-aligned results.
  • Collaborate with the broader Customer team to develop new and innovative content ideas, taking learnings from your channel to drive incremental results in other channels, or vice versa.
  • Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing Manager in the identification of, planning and execution of Partnership & Collaboration initiatives that genuinely connect with new audiences and re-engage our existing community.
  • Assist in coordinating Brand/PR and Social Media activations, engaging with the public, and collaborating with internal employees to create authentic and entertaining content.
  • Assist in photoshoot planning, product sample organisation, and other preparation activities to ensure smooth execution of content shoots.
  • Minimum 2 years owning an influencer marketing budget and strategy.
  • It's an added bonus if you have global experience, particularly in AU, US and UK retail landscapes.
  • Deep understanding of all social media platforms, including how to engage audiences and build brand presence.
  • Confidence in front of the camera and excited to feature in our brand content.
  • Previous internship or work experience in marketing, content creation, or social media management.
  • Experience collaborating with Paid Social teams and confidence with performance metrics such as ROAS, CTR, CAC and all view through and engagement metrics.
  • Strong creative and visual skills, with the ability to plan, shoot, and edit content for digital platforms using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting engaging content and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Passion for storytelling and building relationships with influencers and content creators to promote brand values authentically.
  • A keen eye for trends, staying updated with emerging social media platforms, algorithms, and content styles to keep campaigns fresh and relevant.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple projects, support photoshoots, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic data analysis skills to track and evaluate influencer and content performance, with the ability to generate actionable insights.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to learn, take feedback, and contribute innovative ideas to the team.

Why choose Boody?

  • A great office location on Crown Street, Surry Hills.
  • The opportunity to do meaningful, purpose-driven work for a B-Corp organisation, making waves on the global stage.
  • The opportunity to grow your career with an awesome group of people.
  • A generous product allowance and team discount program (never be short on undies again).
