The Everi Pty is seeking a highly skilled medical professional to fill the role of Staff Specialist in Diagnostic Haematology. The successful applicant will work closely with the laboratory team at the Royal Hobart Hospital, conducting diagnostic review meetings and participating in academic activities.
Responsibilities include providing consultation services in General Haematology, Transfusion, and other subspecialties as required, representing the specialty on hospital committees, and providing consultation and coordination for management of haemophilia and coagulation disorders.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in flow cytometry and haemostasis, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. The opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and undergraduate teaching makes this a dynamic and rewarding position.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold specialist registration or be an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on the specialist pathway. A current CV and contact details of two referees are also required.
