Our Demi Chef will support all kitchen activities and prepare delicious food across an à la carte offering, creating memorable experiences for guests. This role involves ensuring quality, kitchen maintenance, and inventory functions are kept to our high standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Create unique dining options that exceed guest expectations by presenting dishes that are both visually appealing and full of flavor.">
  3. Effectively manage supplies, equipment, and waste to maintain a clean and organized workstation.">
  4. Develop your team through coaching and feedback, recognizing good performance and encouraging growth.">
  5. Maintain cleanliness to meet or exceed HACCP requirements and contribute to a safe working environment.">
  6. Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.">
  7. Perform other ad-hoc duties as a true team player, always willing to lend a hand.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Experience in a busy à la carte dining environment is preferred.">
  • Hold legal right to work full-time in Australia.">
  • Hold qualifications in Commercial Cookery or Culinary Arts from a registered training provider.">
  • Current Safe Food Handling Certification is mandatory.">
  • Excellent communication skills; warm, welcoming, and approachable.">
  • Flexibility to work night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.">
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.">
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload effectively.">
