Biosymm is seeking expressions of interest for Hygiene/Health Technicians who are looking for more out of their career. We offer Fly In Fly Out roles from Perth, including 7:7 and 8:6 rosters.

The successful applicants will work on a mine site in regional Western Australia, supported by our team and client's workforce.

You will be responsible for the execution of occupational health and hygiene requirements, including:

  • ">
  • Providing high-quality services for corporate clients to meet their requirements
  • Performing health assessments, such as audiometric (hearing) and spirometry (lung function) tests, to monitor the health of employees
  • Performing fit testing, such as training and carrying out respirator and earplug fit tests to ensure workers are using appropriate personal protective equipment correctly
  • Working with Occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety (OHHS) specialists to collect data and implement improvements to work environments and procedures
  • Maintaining and calibrating testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Demonstrating the use of safety equipment and educating workers on safety practices
  • Working closely with clients, medical professionals, and other team members to support employee health and well-being


Required Skills: Previous experience as an Occupational Health / Hygiene Technician, proficiency in audiometric testing and results interpretation, spirometry (lung function) testing and results interpretation, quantitative RPD / HPD fit testing methods, noise surveys and management plans, dust monitoring and water sampling, vent inspections, degree qualification in health, science or related field (preferable), mining experience (preferable).
