Master Video Editor Specialist

This role focuses on the technical framework of the Video Editor, encompassing React components and data persistence.
Main Responsibilities:- Oversight of the technical foundation for the Video Editor relied upon by millions.
- Driving innovation in the data layer powering video editing, prioritizing developer velocity and runtime performance at scale.
- Collaboration across teams to ensure seamless integration of video with design tools, templates, brand systems, and AI-powered features.
- Strategic partnerships with platform teams to guarantee our video infrastructure scales in tandem with business growth.
- Promoting performance through systematic measurement, optimisation, and architectural enhancements delivering a world-class editing experience.
- Fostering operational excellence within the Video Editor team ensuring high reliability and quality services.
- Pursuing innovative frontend patterns and technologies pushing user experience and developer productivity boundaries.
- Closely collaborating with product and design to translate visions into technical roadmaps balancing creativity with technical rigor.
- Mentorship of engineers establishing best practices in frontend architecture, data modelling, and scalable design.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in video technology and a deep understanding of software development principles. They must be able to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and lead technical discussions.
