Business Analysis Expertise Sought

This is a 12-month contract position for an experienced Business Analyst with a baseline security clearance to join our Government Client team in Canberra.

  • The ideal candidate will map end-to-end processes, consulting with the Business and Tech side to support the program of work, including gathering business requirements, assessment and options analysis.
  • They will work closely with Solution Designers and Functional Consultants to develop End-to-End solution designs in line with business requirements.
  • The selected individual will define data and process requirements to meet business needs and collaborate with wider enterprise architecture teams to agree on recommended solutions for business problem statements.
  • As a Salesforce Business Architect, they will represent the organization in organisation-wide strategic programs.
  • They will model both current and future states of the business, engaging with relevant areas to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Applicants must apply systems-thinking principles to visualise and communicate end-to-end processes, dependencies and interactions in a platform-agnostic manner.
  • Collaboration with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects is crucial to ensure business outcomes are aligned and successfully delivered.
Key Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification is mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate has at least 7 to 8 years of experience working in a similar role in large-scale implementations.
  • Experience in large-scale tech transformation projects, preferably with ERP implementations, is highly regarded.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, listening and communication skills are essential, as well as experience modelling business processes using various tools and techniques.
  • Working on cloud-based projects, including UX/CX designers, and accessible applications is also desirable.
  • Experience working in Agile and Structured delivery environments and exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud and Insurance Industries is a plus.
  • TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification is required.

This role requires strong technical business analysis skills, excellent stakeholder management and experience working in a federal Government environment.
