
Procurement Specialist

Procurement is a strategic function that enables organisations to achieve their goals through effective management of resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Support procurement activities including vendor engagement, sourcing, quotation and contract negotiation.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with policies and organisational requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance and provide reporting and feedback to stakeholders.
- Administer and support user access for procurement functions in TechOne, including catalogues, pricing, and inventory records.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement and commercial matters, escalating issues where necessary.
- Minimum tertiary qualifications in supply chain management or equivalent experience.
- Membership of a procurement related profession - desirable.
- Proven ability to negotiate, coordinate, and manage contracts, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and compliance.
- Strategic thinking, financial analysis, and process optimisation skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-directed, and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Knowledge of contract management methodologies, aged care standards, and relevant legislation is highly valued.
